Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons SPQR Sesame Ginger Crunch Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon SPQR Celtic Sea Salt
- Β½ teaspoon SPQR MSG (optional)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ΒΌ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ΒΌ cup pasta water
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ΒΌ cup of pasta water before draining.
- While the pasta cooks, melt the butter and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir in the SPQR Sesame Ginger Crunch Seasoning, SPQR Celtic Sea Salt, MSG (if using), soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add the drained pasta and reserved pasta water. Toss until the noodles are evenly coated and glossy.
- Remove from heat and fold in the green onions.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and fresh herbs before serving.
